How My Skills Help You Move Forward
Because I speak both "medical" and "therapeutic" languages, you don’t have to spend time explaining complex anatomy, surgeries, or side effects to me. I already understand them. Instead, we can focus entirely on practical, talk-based psychological strategies to help you adapt and heal.
Using evidence-based psychosexual therapy, I help individuals and couples navigate:
Sexual Dysfunctions: Working through deeply rooted struggles with erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, painful intercourse (vaginismus, dyspareunia, or vulvodynia), or low libido.
Out-of-Control Behaviour & Porn Use: Providing a non-judgmental, structured space to understand compulsive porn use, break addictive cycles, and restore healthy, real-world intimacy.
Redefining Pleasure & Desire: Teaching communication tools to bridge desire discrepancies between partners, allowing you to reconnect without pressure, guilt, or fear of rejection.
Post-Treatment & Oncological Recovery: Managing anxiety, fear of pain, or profound body-image changes after treatments for prostate, bladder, bowel, or gynaecological conditions and cancers, as well as pelvic surgeries and adapting to life with a stoma.
The Difference in My Practice: You won't need to bridge the gap between your medical history and your emotional reality by yourself. My background allows us to skip the clinical explanations and go straight into the meaningful work of restoring your confidence and quality of life.
Bridging the Gap: From Medical Recovery to Everyday Challenges
Modern medicine is incredible at treating the physical body, performing complex surgeries, and managing serious illnesses. But while doctors focus on fixing the physical condition, they often leave the emotional and relational aspects unaddressed.
Because the truth is, it isn’t always about the medicine.
That is where my unique background comes in. My 29 years of clinical experience across urology, pelvic health, and andrology perfectly complements my specialist psychosexual training. This dual expertise means I deeply understand the physical, anatomical reality of what your body has been through medically - but my focus now is to safely guide you through the psychological journey of recovery.
Whether you are navigating life following a major medical intervention, or simply trying to overcome an everyday intimacy hurdle that is holding you back, you don't have to figure it out alone. Together, we will use these specialised insights to help you rebuild your confidence, redefine pleasure, and restore your connection.
Shaping the Future of Care
As Co-Chair of the EAUN Special Interest Group (SIG) in Sexual Health and an international lecturer, I train healthcare professionals on how to support patients through the emotional side of recovery. I bring this same advanced, globally recognised expertise directly into our private therapy sessions.

My Therapeutic Approach
I specialise in supporting individuals and couples of all genders through a comprehensive range of psychosexual and relational challenges. Whether you are navigating issues with desire, arousal, orgasm, pain, intimacy, communication, sexual confidence, or body image, I am here to help you find a way forward.
I recognise that sexual concerns are rarely simple. They are almost always multifactorial - weaving together physical, emotional, relational, and psychological components. Because of this, true and lasting change only happens when we look at the full picture.
Bridging the Gap: Where Medicine Meets Therapy
My practice uniquely blends clinical insight with therapeutic care. Many clients arrive thinking their concern is purely "medical" - yet it is often emotional, relational, or a complex combination of both.
Because I speak both "medical" and "therapeutic" languages, you don’t have to spend time explaining complex anatomy, surgeries, or side effects to me. I already understand them. This background allows me to confidently bridge the gap between your physical health and psychological wellbeing, saving you from having to explain your medical history so we can focus entirely on your healing.
My Style: Collaborative, Warm & Evidence-Based
My therapeutic style is warm, strictly non-judgmental, and deeply collaborative. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, we will co-create a tailored programme designed for your specific needs—whether you are navigating major life changes, sexual dysfunction, relationship struggles, or simply want to reconnect with yourself or your partner.
Leading the Conversation in Sexual Health
Beyond my private practice, I am deeply committed to raising the global standard of psychosexual care. I co-chair the Sexual Health Special Interest Group (SIG) within the European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN), and recently stepped down as EAUN President. Through these roles, I continue to lecture internationally and shape advanced sexual health education and standards of care worldwide.
